SEATTLE (AP) — The hero teacher who stopped a gunman at North Thurston High School two weeks ago has been asked to throw out the first pitch at a Seattle Mariners baseball game.
KIRO radio reports (http://is.gd/gE1AOp ) civics teacher Brady Olson will be honored before Friday's game against the Oakland Athletics.
Olson got in some pitching practice last weekend, when he threw out the first pitch at the Sunday baseball game at Lower Columbia College.
