Chris Kaye reportingA Tooele man is making a living by renting goats.
Clay Zimmerman has got your goat; pack goats that he rents to hikers.
Clay Zimmerman: "A goat can carry about the same as a person can, between 1/3 and 1/4 their body weight. You adjust it for the trail conditions the same as you would yourself."
The owner of High Uinta Pack Goats says he rents them in pairs.
Clay Zimmerman: "Goats are a herd animal and they need the companionship. You are all part of the herd and the herd stays together as one unit."
Zimmerman says the goats browse along the trail like deer and can go several days without water depending on the conditions.
