BEVERLY HILLS, Calif. (AP) — Kim Richards — one of the "Real Housewives of Beverly Hills" — has been arrested on suspicion of being drunk in public.
Lt. Lincoln Hoshino tells ABC News (http://abcn.ws/1HcfsyV ) that officers took her into custody around 2 a.m. Thursday at the Beverly Hills Hotel after security guards said she refused to leave a restaurant and holed up in a bathroom.
Police say she was belligerent, had slurred speech, cursed the officers and kicked one in the leg. She was booked for public intoxication, trespassing, resisting and battery on an officer.
Richards was released around 8 ½ hours.
She has acknowledged struggling with alcohol problems in the past.
Messages to a Richards representative seeking comment weren't immediately returned.
