LOS ANGELES (AP) — Court records show the wife of Los Angeles Philharmonic conductor Gustavo Dudamel has filed for divorce.

Eloisa Maturen cited irreconcilable differences in her petition filed March 3 and released Thursday in Los Angeles.

The pair has been married for more than nine years and has a 3-year-old son together.

Maturen, a ballet dancer, actress and journalist, is seeking physical custody of their son and spousal support. She made her debut last year in director Fina Torres' film "Liz in September."

Both Dudamel and Maturen are natives of Venezuela.

In addition to serving as the LA Philharmonic's music director, Dudamel wrote the score for the biopic of South America's liberator, Simon Bolivar, that debuted last year.

Dudamel's agent didn't immediately return messages.
