(KSL News) Utah lawmakers will consider a bill today that would require insurance companies to cover certain therapies for autistic children.

Some parents say insurance should cover the intensive behavioral, speech and occupational therapy they say will help their children lead more normal lives.

The Salt Lake Tribune reports some parents are selling their homes or taking out second mortgages to pay for the estimated $50,000 cost of autism therapy.
