DUBAI, United Arab Emirates (AP) — Career networking website LinkedIn has launched an Arabic version targeting the Middle East's majority youth population.

Saudi Labor Minister Adel Fakeih, who took part in the launch of the website from neighboring United Arab Emirates on Wednesday, says the portal will help the government reach out to Saudis seeking jobs.

LinkedIn says it has more than 347 million members worldwide, with more than 14 million in the Middle East and North Africa using its English website. LinkedIn is now available in 24 languages, and existing members can switch their language settings to Arabic.

The website is aimed at users 30 years old or younger, who make up the majority of the region's population.
