Randall Jeppesen reportingA man horseback riding north of the Salt Lake International Airport had to be flown to a hospital after his horse stepped on him.
The man was horseback riding on the Duck Club land; it's directly to the north of the airport runways.
For whatever reason, the horse started bucking, the rider came off, and then the horse came down on top of him.
He was struck by the hoof of the horse.
Capt. Cory Huffman, with the Salt Lake City Fire Department, says there's concern for the man's back.
