(KSL News) Voters in several precincts yesterday approved 500 million dollars for various school districts.

School Funding

Davis County
$230 Million
7 new schools

Provo
$35 Million 2 new schools
Teacher raises

Tooele County
$57.5 Million
2 new schools

Weber County
$160.3 Million
4 new schools

Washington County
$150 Million
6 new schools

Davis County residents passed a 230 million dollar bond. It will pay for seven new schools and for some renovation projects.

In Provo, a 35 million dollar bond will pay for two new elementary schools and improvements to Provo High. Teachers will also get a raise.

Tooele County will get 57 and a half million dollars will pay for two new schools.

Bonds worth 160 million dollars passed in Weber County to build four schools and renovate several more.

And a 150 million dollar bond in Washington County will pay for six new schools.

Meanwhile, the West Valley City Council agreed to give Granite School district two point five million dollars.

The money will be used to relocate Granger Elementary school. The current Granger Elementary will be replaced with a Costco store.
