MURRAY — Police are looking for a man who robbed a Murray hair salon at gunpoint Saturday.
Murray police received the report of a robbery at Best Hair Salon, 653 W. 5300 South, just before 4:30 p.m. A man apparently went into the salon and brandished a gun at an employee, who escaped through a back door, Sgt. Kasey Heaton said.
The gunman took an undisclosed amount of cash from the register and escaped through the business's main entrance, Heaton said.
Witnesses told police the man was wearing a brown coat, jeans and white shoes. Investigators were working with witnesses Saturday evening to get more information.
