Randall Jeppesen reportingThe Utah Jazz will be trying to knock off the Lakers in L.A. tonight. Then it's back to Salt Lake City. But getting tickets to the home games is tough.
No matter what happens in L.A. tonight, the Jazz will be back home Friday. One man we talked to was among the thousands that wanted tickets and was disappointed when he came up empty.
"I'm a fan, so I'll watch it on TV," he said.
But I also caught up with some people picking up their tickets today. They were all smiles.
Senior Vice president of Sales Jim Olsen says Friday's game tickets sold out in 15 minutes. And if the Jazz go on to round three, "Be ready to hit that computer button the second the time hits that we go on sale," Olsen said.
He says tens of thousands of people log on to get those tickets. Fans also line up outside the Jazz ticket office when the playoff tickets become available. But Olsen says 90 percent of the tickets get sold online.
