BOISE, Idaho (AP) — Nearly 74,000 Idahoans have selected a health insurance plan on the state-based Your Health Idaho exchange. Executive Director Pat Kelly says that generally meets their projections, but gave few details of the sign-ups as he briefed the exchange board yesterday. Idaho is the only Republican state to launch its own health exchange.
MERIDIAN, Idaho (AP) — A second murder charge is being filed against a man awaiting trial for killing and dismembering a man in 2007. Idaho State Police say 46-year-old Michael Dauber is also responsible for the death of 25-year-old Joshua Reddington of Salmon in 2000. His skeletal remains were recently identified using DNA tests.
LEWISTON, Idaho (AP) — Nez Perce County Sheriff's deputies are investigating the death of a 47-year-old inmate who was found hanging in his cell. Deputies tell the Lewiston Tribune that Maynard Ellenwood Jr. died after being rushed to a hospital on Sunday. It's the third apparent suicide at the jail in a little over two years.
YELLOWSTONE NATIONAL PARK, Wyo. (AP) — Yellowstone National Park fans can get a heads up on when Old Faithful and five other geysers are set to erupt thanks to a new app. The geyser app also features a link to a webcam so people can view live eruptions. The National Park Service geyser app is available in the Google Play and Apple app stores.
