(KSL News) -- Divers recovered the body of a 16 year old Smithfield boy from the Bear River in Northern Utah Friday night.
Cache County Sheriff's Deputies say the teen, and two others were jumping off an old bridge 30 feet above the river, in Trenton near 100 East 1200 North.
They say two teens jumped into the river and surfaced. The third landed in an awkward position, went under, and did not come up.
His friends tried to find him, but could not. They called 9-1-1.
Searchers found his body in the slow moving deep river near where he entered it.
