HARRISVILLE, Utah (AP) -- A South Salt Lake man is facing at least nine second-degree felony charges after authorities say he embezzled hundreds of thousands of dollars from a Harrisville company.
Police say Charles Craig Tabaracci used his position as the chief financial officer at a local brick manufacturer to issue himself an additional paycheck each month.
Police say Tabaracci direct-deposited one check in his bank account then printed another paycheck to cash elsewhere.
It's unclear if Tabaracci has an attorney.
Investigators have audited financial documents for the last three years and have found about $200,000 in theft.
