CHICAGO (AP) — Grain futures were higher Thursday in early trading on the Chicago Board of Trade.
Wheat for Dec delivery was unchanged at $4.79 a bushel; Dec corn was 1.75 cents higher at $3.23 a bushel; Dec oats were unchanged at $3.3875 a bushel; while Nov soybeans advanced 7.25 cents to $9.24 a bushel.
Beef higher and pork lower on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.
Dec live cattle was .40 cent higher at $1.6630 pound; Oct feeder cattle was 2.38 cents higher at 2.4080 a pound; Dec lean hogs declined .82 cent to $.9405 a pound.
