(KSL News) -- Families played, learned and helped out foster children today at the fourth annual KSL Family Fair.

The event raises awareness of the need for more foster families in Utah.

More than 90 artists transformed the pavement at The Gateway into a street art gallery. The Chalk Art Festival raises money for the Utah Foster Care Foundation and the Wishing Well Fund which provides foster children with extra money.

Geri Winkler, Utah Foster Care Foundation: "We have a girl who wants to play piano really bad and she loves to play the drums. And this is providing piano lessons for one of our foster daughters."

And just in time for Fathers' Day, KSL's Bruce Lindsay presented the Foster Father of the Year award to five foster dad's for their work in parenting foster children.

The fair continues tonight until nine with a concert. You can check-out the finished sidewalk chalk murals.
