DUCHESNE, Utah (AP) — Duchesne County deputies have identified a man who died after he apparently crawled onto the roof of a moving Jeep and then fell to the ground. Sheriff's officials say 24-year-old Myton resident Anton Langley died in the incident Saturday morning. Driver Braxton Argyle was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence.
SALT LAKE CITY (AP) — Police investigating how iced tea that a woman drank at a South Jordan restaurant ended up laced with an industrial cleaning solution is forwarding its findings to prosecutors. No arrests will be made until Salt Lake County Attorney Sim Gill reviews the investigation. The woman who unknowingly drank the sweetened ice tea August 10 has been upgraded to serious condition.
SALT LAKE CITY (AP) — Police still don't know who opened fire at a crowded nightclub in downtown Salt Lake City last weekend and they're hoping witnesses took video to help them solve the case. Police say hundreds fled the scene after somebody shot six people inside the Inferno Cantina Night Club. All six victims are expected to survive.
OREM, Utah (AP) — Wildlife officials say a cougar has died after she roamed through a neighborhood in Orem and was tranquilized by state biologists. The Utah Division of Wildlife Resources says a necropsy is scheduled to determine an exact cause of death. The cat was described as 2 years old or younger and weighing less than 100 pounds.
