LOS ANGELES — The highly anticipated movie "The Giver" hits theaters Friday.
It was co-produced by the Weinstein Company and Walden Media, which produces films and books with moral and educational value.
Dave McCann went to L.A. to speak with the walden Media's president, Micheal Flaherty and learned why "The Giver" is so important to him.
