PROVO — A man who went missing made it back to his home safely after police had asked for the public's help locating him.
Dennis Larsen, 74, returned home Saturday morning, according to the Salt Lake City Police Department.
Larsen was reported missing by his brother around 5:45 p.m. Friday, said Lara Jones of the Salt Lake City Police Department.
The two were in Salt Lake City and went to Ensign Peak Park. Larsen stayed behind while his brother hiked the park around 3:30 p.m. When Larsen's brother returned to the car, Larsen was not there.
Jones said Larsen suffers from dementia.
