WASHINGTON, D.C. — Two dozen World War II veterans from Utah explored the memorials in the nation's capital before taking time for their Honor Flight.

The crew spent time Tuesday at Arlington National Cemetery, then went to the World War II Memorial, the Korean War Memorial, the Vietnam War Memorial and the Lincoln Memorial.

Each visit stirred powerful emotions among the veterans, as their thoughts turned to their service and those who did not come home.
