Sam Penrod reportingThe headline act for this year's Stadium of Fire has been announced, and it may be the most popular performer on the road right now.

It's teen sensation Miley Cyrus, and it's no April Fool's joke.

The star of the Hannah Montana TV show will be the main attraction on the Fourth of July in Provo.

Miley Cyrus made the announcement herself on a video this morning. She said, "Hi, I'm Miley Cyrus. You know where I like to be on July Fourth? At a great big family party with plenty of fireworks. This July Fourth, my band and I will be with you in Provo for Stadium of Fire. We're going to set the place on fire, and I'm really looking forward to it, and I'll see you guys there."

Cyrus, who is the 15-year-old daughter of country singer Billy Ray Cyrus, may be the hottest ticket in the music world right now.

Unlike the Hannah Montana tour from last year, which sold out in minutes across the country, Cyrus is bringing her own show to Stadium of Fire. Brad Pelo, Stadium of Fire producer, said, "This will be her first appearance as Miley Cyrus on tour as her show. The show she did last year was a Disney show as Hannah Montana and Miley Cyrus. This is a Miley Cyrus show, so we're thrilled about that. I'm confident, between now and then, you are going to see some new things from her."

Along with Miley Cyrus, the Blue Man Group will perform, and the show will be hosted by Glenn Beck, a conservative talk show host.

The big question is about getting tickets.

Approximately 50,000 seats will be sold, beginning this Friday at 5 p.m.

One-thousand wristbands became available this morning at the BYU Marriott Center Ticket office, but tickets will also be sold online. For more ticket information, go to the related links.
