OREM, Utah (AP) -- Graduates of Utah Valley State College, Utah Valley Community College and other predecessors of Utah Valley University could be getting upgraded diplomas.

UVSC is offering new diplomas to anyone who graduated from the school since it was founded in 1941. The new diplomas will be from Utah Valley University, which UVSC is in the process of becoming.

The school has grown from Central Utah Vocational School, Utah Trade Technical Institute, Utah Technical College, Utah Valley Community College and UVSC, the name it has held since 1993.
