MTV MOVIE AWARDS

LOS ANGELES (AP) — "The Hunger Games: Catching Fire" wins movie of the year at the MTV Movie Awards. Josh Hutcherson says they're thinking of the their friend and co-star, the late Philip Seymour Hoffman. Hutcherson also wins best male performer, while co-star Jennifer Lawrence takes the female honors. Zac Efron earned the best shirtless performance award and presenter Rita Ora ripped off his shirt while he accepted. Mark Wahlberg collected the generation award. He jokes it signifies that he's done. Best kiss went to Emma Roberts, Jennifer Aniston and Will Poulter.

BOX OFFICE

LOS ANGELES (AP) — Captain America is the five star general at your local multiplex. "Captain America: The Winter Soldier" stays number one for a second straight weekend. It brings in more than $41 million this weekend. World wide the new Captain America movie is approaching the half billion dollar mark -- soaring past the total take of the first installment. "Rio 2" opens in a close second. The openings of "Oculus" and "Draft Day" are third and fourth this weekend.

LONDON (AP) — Sure it looks cool on screen to see all those superheroes saving the world in "Captain America: The Winter Soldier," but it's different on set. Scarlett Johansson says it can be a bit silly when they're all standing around "in these ridiculous costumes." She says no matter what Chris Evans says about how cool he looks, she reminds him that he's wearing tights.

''DIVERGENT" FINALE TO BE SPLIT IN TWO PARTS

LOS ANGELES (AP) — They did it with "The Hunger Games," the "Twilight" movies and "Harry Potter" and now they're doing it with "Divergent." The third and final film will be split in two parts. The first part of "Allegiant" will be out in March 2016. Part two will be out a year after that. The second film "Insurgent" is due out next year.

''DANCING WITH THE STARS"

LOS ANGELES (AP) — The celebrities are back with their regular partners tonight on "Dancing With the Stars." They'll dance to songs from Disney movies, including "The Lion King," ''Aladdin," ''The Little Mermaid," and, of course, "Frozen." Disney animation will also be worked into the show. Season 9 champ Donny Osmond will be the guest judge. Another star will be sent home.

''AMERICAN IDOL" - MALAYA: STUPID BOYS NOT ALLOWED

LOS ANGELES (AP) — When Malaya returns to finish her junior year in high school, she might find being on "American Idol" made her more popular with boys. If so, they'll have to possess these qualities: Malaya says they have to play football and be taller than her when she's in heels. They have to have "a nice side and be loyal and honest." And, above all, she says "they can't be stupid." Malaya hopes to get her braces off when she gets home, too.

LOS ANGELES (AP) — Johnny Depp has had 10 months to get used to turning 50 last June and he finds he's calmer than he used to be. He tells Ellen DeGeneres on her talk show that he still has some "weirdness," but he's lost some of his "rage." He says he has "far less drama in his life." His love life has settled down, too. Depp is engaged to Amber Heard.

TNT TURNING "THE LIBRARIAN" MOVIES INTO A SERIES

LOS ANGELES (AP) — "The Librarian" movies that Noah Wyle has been starring in on TNT have been such a success they're being turned into a series. Wyle's going to executive produce the series which will star Rebecca Romijn (roh-MAYN'). Wyle will have a recurring role as Flynn Carsen, who he played in the movies. TNT has ordered 10 episodes of what will be called "The Librarians."
