(KSL News) Salt Lake County deputies are looking for a man who led them on a short chase overnight.

A deputy spotted the man driving recklessly and tried to pull him over. The man took off instead but only made it about six blocks before he lost control and crashed into a fence near 9200 West and 2700 South. Then he jumped out of the car and took off on foot.

Officers set up a containment and brought out dogs, but so far they have not found the suspect.

Police say the registered owner of the car does have outstanding warrants, but they aren't sure if the suspect owns the car.
