MIDVALE — Police have identified a man suspected of robbing a Wells Fargo Bank early Friday morning.
Police said the robber entered Wells Fargo Bank at 955 E. Fort Union Boulevard around 9:15 a.m. Friday. The robber approached a teller and presented a note demanding money.
The teller gave the robber an undisclosed amount of cash and he fled the bank on foot. No one was injured during the incident.
Investigators described the robber as Caucasian with a shaved head and tattoo near his right eye. He is about 6 feet tall, in his late 20s and around 180 pounds, they said. He was wearing a white shirt and hooded blue sweatshirt at the time of the robbery.
Police identified the suspect as Randy Platt and are asking for the public's help in locating him. They said he should be considered armed and dangerous.
