SALT LAKE CITY ā€” Quinn Peters had 20 points and Richard Harward added 15 points and nine rebounds in leading Orem past Springville, 61-46, in the semifinals of the Class 4A Boys State Tournament at the Huntsman Center Friday night.

The Tigers will face No. 1 Bountiful in for the state title Saturday at 1:30 p.m. at the Huntsman Center.

The Tigers will play for a state title two years after winning the first crown in school history.

Orem shot 52.5 percent from the field while holding Springville to just 32.1 percent shooting. The Tigers led by as many as 17 despite only getting seven points from star player Dalton Nixon.

Max Schreiner led Springville with 13 and Kayden Hillstead had 11 points.

Springville pulled to within three points late in the third quarter, but Orem got hot in the fourth and pulled away. The Tigers shot 66.7 percent from the field in the second half and outscored the Red Devils in the paint, 36-20.
