HEBER CITY, Utah (AP) -- If you're an "active Western lifestyle enthusiast," there are few better places to live than Heber City or Ogden.
That's according to American Cowboy magazine, which included both cities in its 20 Best Places to Live in the West list. The rankings were based on criteria including cowboy culture, respect for heritage and a spirit of independence.
Heber City won points for its mining and dairy farming roots as well as its annual Heber City Cowboy Poetry Gathering and Buckaroo Fair.
Ogden was cited for its significance as an early railroading town and its Pioneer Days celebration every July.
