LONDON (AP) - Jared Leto says there's only one thing that gets him through the endless film awards season: A packed lunch.

The 42-year-old has already won a Screen Actor's Guild Award and a Golden Globe for his performance as the transgendered Rayon in "Dallas Buyers Club" and is nominated for an Academy Award.

He says award shows "last for sometimes hours and hours and hours." Actors and directors "do red carpet in the afternoon and you end up leaving late in the evening. I like to eat really healthy, so I bring little snacks."

At the Golden Globes, Leto says he got plenty of ribbing for his snacks but within minutes "Reese Witherspoon, Jennifer Garner, Matthew (McConaughey), everyone is reaching into my bag!"
