NEW YORK (AP) - Santino Fontana and Tony Shalhoub will be sharing a Broadway role this spring _ both will play legendary writer and director Moss Hart.
Lincoln Center Theater said Sunday that both actors will play Hart at different stages of his life in a play adapted and directed by James Lapine from "Act One," Hart's autobiography. Previews begin March 20 at the Vivian Beaumont Theater.
Both the book and play trace the rise of Hart who became a powerful theatrical figure, directing "My Fair Lady" and "Camelot" and collaborating with George S. Kaufman on "The Man Who Came To Dinner" and "You Can't Take It With You."
Fontana is currently playing the Prince on Broadway in "Rogers + Hammerstein's Cinderella," while "Monk" star Shalhoub was last year on Broadway in "Golden Boy."
