(KSL News) Police are investigating how a man's body ended up near the South Mountain Golf Course.
Draper Police say a family hiking in the area spotted what they thought was a body in a ravine and called emergency services. When police arrived, they found an unidentified male between the ages of 16 and 25, but there was no obvious cause of death.
Sgt. Kurt Imig, with the Draper Police Department, said, "At this time it's pretty preliminary. All we know is we have a male fully clothed in a pool of water, and it's undetermined how long he's been there."
Police later told us the man's body was actually partially clothed, and they believe he was there for at least a day, maybe as long as a few weeks. Police are now working with the Medical Examiner.
