(KSL News) A former East High School football player accused of hazing other students is headed to trial in two cases.
The 16-year-old was one of three East students charged in juvenile court for three hazing incidents. Last month he was also charged with five felonies involving sexual misconduct with two young boys.
The two other accused East students struck plea deals for the hazing in December, but the Deseret Morning News reports that a plea deal is unlikely for the remaining teen's cases.
A trial for the hazing incidents is set for Feb. 29, while the trial on the other charges is scheduled for March 7.
