(KSL News) Some Utah families got the best Valentine's Day gift they could ask for today. It wasn't flowers, candy or stuffed animals. It was their soldiers, home from a year at war.
Cheers, hugs and kisses greeted 13 Utah Army Reserve soldiers when they arrived at the Salt Lake International Airport.
The troops were assigned to the 478th Personnel Services Battalion. They spent a year in Afghanistan, providing personnel services to other soldiers and commanders.
Their families say they're ecstatic to have them home.
