(KSL News) The Leonardo Art, Culture and Science Center is hoping to make up a budget shortfall by selling naming rights.
According to an article in today's Deseret Morning News, the Leonardo currently needs $5.5 million in additional funding in order to complete renovations on their current facility.
Now center leaders, along with Mayor Ralph Becker and the city council, have developed a plan to sell the naming rights for a price tag between $5 and $8 million. The city has already committed more than $13 million to the development of the Leonardo.
