Andrew Adams reporting Salt Lake City police are working hard to make sure President Hinckley's funeral procession goes as smoothly as possible.

Most of them will be friendly, but some might not be. So, officers will be watching and escorting the procession along South Temple.

Detective Jared Wihongi says if you mind your own business, you should be OK. "To observe the procession, and not going to be involved in any protest-type activities, they're going to be just fine being right there on the route and paying their respects," he said.

However, demonstrators for or against The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints aren't supposed to be within 200 feet of the procession. That includes cane waving.

Police estimate the procession should shut down parts of South Temple for about 20 or 30 minutes.
