SALT LAKE CITY (AP) -- Early voting is under way for the Feb. 5 presidential primary.

The early period began Tuesday and continues through Feb. 1.

Utah voters must be registered and affiliated with the Republican party to cast ballots for GOP candidates. Voting on the Democratic ticket is also open to unaffiliated voters and members of non-recognized parties.
