PROVO, Utah (AP) -- The mayors of Utah County's two largest cities want business leaders to lobby the Legislature for transportation money.
Provo's Lewis Billings and Orem's Jerry Washburn say improving alternate routes to Interstate 15 is necessary.
They also say funding commuter rail and bus-rapid-transit service is also important.
The mayors spoke Friday to the Provo-Orem Chamber of Commerce and sought their support on the issues.
