SALT LAKE CITY — A woman was taken to the hospital after a car struck her while she was crossing the street Saturday night.
According to police, around 7:15 p.m. Saturday evening, a woman was crossing from the east to the west side of State Street near 3800 South outside of a crosswalk when she was struck by a Toyota Prius.
The woman was taken to the hospital in extremely critical condition.
