(KSL News) Software giant Novell will lay off more workers in the new year, likely including some here in Utah.
The company currently is restructuring in order to increase profitability.
In documents outlining the plans, Novell has budgeted between $12 million and $22 million in employee severance packages.
Novell has already laid off 250 software development and engineering positions in the U.S., including 200 from its Provo plant. The majority of those jobs were off-shored to India.
