LAS VEGAS (AP) -- Police say a 14-month-old boy who became the focus of an "Amber Alert" after his mother reported he'd been abducted has been found safe in southern Nevada.
Jaxton Allen was found in a green Honda S-U-V with Utah license plates -- along with two 20-year-olds who the boy's mother had characterized as his abductors.
Police say two motorists recognized the vehicle and notified police.
The N-H-P stopped the car on U-S 95 near Tropicana Avenue -- right near a big electronic sign that was still flashing the Amber Alert.
The alert was canceled -- about three hours after it was issued.
The boy's mother -- 27-year-old Krista Allen of Saint George, Utah -- is facing felony child endangerment charges.
She told police a man she knew only as "J-D" and a woman she knew only as "Rachel" drove off with her car -- and her son still in it -- just before midnight last night.
Police say they're questioning the man and the woman. It's not clear if they'll face charges.
