(KSL News) Leaders of the town of Daniel say they'll consider annexing a group of residents who don't want to belong to the proposed town of Aspen.
Yesterday, more than 110 residents of Daniel and unincorporated Wasatch County attended last night's meeting after presenting a petition asking for the annex on Nov. 8.
The residents are trying to stop developer Dean Sellers' plans to create Utah's next big ski town, similar to Park City. To create the town, Sellers needs at least 100 residents inside Aspen's limits.
If the town of Daniel accepts the annexation, Sellers would not have the population he needs to incorporate.
