(KSL News) The 15-year-old suspect in a St. George rape and murder will stand trial as an adult.

Carlos Hernandez will appear in 5th District Court for the first time later this month. He is accused of killing Keely Amber Hall in January during a sexual assault.

Hall's body was found on a playground in Dixie Downs Park. Police identified Hernandez as a possible suspect after finding his phone number was the last dialed on Hall's cell phone.

Officers say he admitted to the crime during questioning.
