FORT COLLINS, Colo. — Following a heartbreaking loss to Wisconsin last week, Utah State is on the road again against Colorado State.

CSU went into this game coming off of two ugly losses and most thought Chuckie Keeton would be too much for the Rams. While Keeton played well, it was running back Kerwynn Williams who stole the show.

It didn't take long for the Aggies to get moving and found the end zone early in the first quarter.

"Kerwynn Williams up the gut for a 26-yd TD run with 9:52 to play in the first quarter," tweeted @CVDaily.

Josh Thompson added a field goal and then in the second Keeton found Austin Williams for a one-yard TD pass.

"Wow. #utahstate goes up 17 against Colorado State in Ft. Collins," tweeted @NickNewman801. "No longer thinking CSU is so bad. USU is for real."

The USU defense kept CSU scoreless in the first half, but in the second CSU QB Garrett Grayson and the offense started pushing the ball and eventually found the end zone.

"Grayson finds Dominique Vincent in the back of the end zone on 4th and 4, and this one isn't over yet," tweeted @TheRealTO.

While it looked like the Rams were starting to move, it was too little too late and Kerwynn Williams and the USU offense just kept moving. The USU offense scored once more in the fourth and capped a 31-19 win.

Keeton didn't quite look himself with 175-yards through the air and one TD against two picks. But Keeton slow night didn't matter because Williams shredded the CSU defense.

"TOUCHDOWN," tweeted @RichKurtzman. "Utah State. 58-yard run by Kerwynn Williams who has just KILLED the #CSURams today."

"Williams has a career-high 19 carries for a career-high 189 yards and 2 touchdowns," tweeted @CVSports.

And that was just the start. Williams career night ended with 218-yards on 22 carries and he also had two TD's on the ground.

Williams and the Aggies will take on the UNLV Rebels in Logan next Saturday.
