(KSL News) A Utah County man says he is "heartbroken" over an accident that left one woman dead.
Miguel Hidalgo entered a "not guilty" plea to a charge of negligent homicide yesterday.
Prosecutors maintain he was driving recklessly and ran a red light in a fully loaded dump truck, striking the victim's car and killing her instantly.
A lawyer for Hidalgo says the amount of construction going on at the intersection could have played a part in the accident and that prior to the crash Hidalgo had a good driving record.
