BRIGHAM CITY — Utah's 14th LDS temple will soon be dedicated in Brigham City. But before that happens, the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints is inviting the public to tour the new structure.
An ongoing open house will be held starting this coming Saturday, Aug. 18 and stretching until Sept. 15. The temple will not be open on Sundays or on Sept. 8. Reservations for visiting the temple may be made by calling 1-855-537-2000 or by clicking here. The temple is located at 250 South Main Street.
Some 300,000 people have already made reservations to take tours.

The 36,000 square-foot Brigham City temple is the 139th to be built worldwide and is intended to serve parts of northern Utah as well as Malad, Idaho, covering 13 stakes and 40,000 members of the LDS church.
It has a very unique design, combining the old and new. A peach blossom design can be found both inside and outside the temple on various areas.
"It's a new modern temple," said Elder William R. Walker of the First Quorum of the Seventy, "but the design is reminiscent of the historic, early temples of the church with round windows and architectural detail, really beautiful and we're pleased with this temple and confident you will find it lovely in every way."
Walker said it was a "most glorious day" in the history of the LDS Church, especially for the residents of Box Elder county, where the temple resides.
It sits directly across the street from the historic tabernacle in downtown Brigham City. It was announced in 2009 and began construction in 2010.
The temple will be officially dedicated Sept. 23 by LDS Church president Thomas S. Monson.
