SALT LAKE CITY — If you have a cat now would be a good time to hide it. Why you ask, because the one and only ALF is headed to the big screen. That's right 80's nerds, the alien life form known as ALF is getting a big screen adaption.
If you're not familiar with ALF, let me catch you up. ALF is a furry alien who crashes into the Tanner's garage and ends up living with them. Also, he loves to eat cats. That's really about it.

Sony Pictures Animation announced they are planning a live-action/CGI film for "ALF" and will return Paul Fusco to voice the loveable alien.
"ALF" ran for four seasons and still enjoys a cult following, which means the film version may enjoy a solid box office run. It's also possible, however, that not enough people remember ALF to check him out at a theater.
