LONDON — One of the main events at any Summer Olympics? Always Team USA's only press conference as a whole team. Happens very early, before they've played any games, at London 2012 they did this yesterday, well before Opening Ceremonies.
There's a crush of reporters from all over the world, different languages, chasing varying storylines. There is little room to maneuver, especially when they put Kobe, LeBron and Carmello all in one corner of the Main Press Center. Tight spaces, international superstars, and pushy, sometimes smelly reporters is the perfect recipe for an Olympic Zoo!
