PROVO, Utah (AP) -- NuSkin employees in Provo and overseas will face layoffs as the direct-sales skin care company looks to restructure due to projected multi-million dollar fourth quarter losses.
An earnings report issued yesterday projects the company could lose between $10 million and $14 million in the last quarter of the year.
In addition to job cuts at corporate offices in Provo the company will close 67 retail stores in China and cut jobs there.
Spokeswoman Kara Schneck couldn't say how many of the 1,200 Provo workers would be let go. NuSkin has about 4,500 total employees.
The latest cuts come on the heels of a $13 million restructuring completed in May 2006.
