SALT LAKE CITY - Do you love to cruise? Do you love the SAW movies? Well, for that small portion of the population who answered yes to both questions, your dream has come true.

Carnival Cruises has announced a SAW themed cruise. No, this is not a mistake, this is actually happening.

For those who do not know, "SAW" is a horror movie franchise that is known for being over the top violent and bloody. The films focus on a murderer or murderers who put people in terrifying contraptions and situations that will brutally kill them if they do not kill someone else, or solve a riddle. That's a pretty basic and general description, but it should give you an idea.

The seven SAW films have made over $800 million worldwide and even more in DVD/Blu Ray sales. The Carnival folks decided to cash in on the franchise's success and theme an entire cruise around it.

Attractions on the cruise will include some actors from the films, including Ned Bellamy, Anne Greene, Costas Mandylor and Mark Rolston. For good measure, they threw in Dan Yeager as well. Yeager isn't in the SAW films, but he is Leatherface in the new "Texas Chainsaw Massacre 3D." Carnival also says SAW enthusiast will enjoy "fantastic pool and dance parties" and free movie screenings.

The cruise is five days and will launch from New York traveling to spots in Canada where the last six SAW movies were filmed.

This may seem crazy to some of you, but staterooms on entire decks are already sold out. So, while you may not be one to trap yourself on a cruise ship themed around a torture horror film, others can't wait to get on board.

What do you think of the SAW themed cruise? Is it totally insane or does it sound like a blast? Give us your thoughts on the comment boards and on our Facebook page.
