INDIO, California - Coachella is a music festival known for incredible set lists and jaw dropping reunions. Over the weekend Coachella lived up to its reputation with a two hour set from Radiohead and earth-shaking performances from acts like The Black Keys, Rihanna and Grace Potter and the Nocturnals. But most of the performances took a back seat to the appearance of an artist who died nearly 16 years ago.

During a set by Dr. Dre and Snoop Dogg Sunday night a ghostly hologram of slain rapper, Tupac Shakur, materialized on stage. The hologram performed the song, "Hail Mary" alongside Dre and Snoop to crowd of over 100,000.
A San Diego company called AV Concepts worked with Dre to bring the hologram to life. Representatives from the company could not comment on how they built the image or if all of the vocals were from Tupac, but they did say the project has took months to both plan and execute.
Tupac was a killed on September 7, 1996 when he was shot and killed in Las Vegas. Tupac has sold over 75 million records worldwide making him one of the best-selling musical artists in the world.
