POINT OF THE MOUNTAIN -- A semi trailer that overturned Monday and blocked all lanes on I-15 southbound has now been removed.
Circumstances surrounding the accident were not immediately known, but strong winds are thought to have blown the trailer over.
Traffic moved slowly along the shoulders while the semi lay on its side, and traffic was still delayed after removal.
The Utah Department of Transportation warned drivers to find alternative routes and expect major delays according to the UDOT CommuterLink website.
Gusts of above 60 mph were recorded in the area Monday morning, causing damage to local property.
