(KSL News) -- A Utah Animal Sanctuary rescued more than a thousand rabbits from a ranch in Reno.
The ranch owner said she was just trying to be a good samaritan when she rescued a few dozen homeless rabbits. However, she didn't have any of the animals spayed or neutered, and the population quickly multiplied.
Best Friends Animal Shelter has now taken custody of the rabbits and are trying to find homes for all of them.
